Green Purchasing Policy

Samho Development’s green purchasing policy means we purchase
eco-friendly products, including materials and machinery used on-site and office supplies for head office and branch offices.

Environmental Management Activities

  • Environmental
    Materiality
    Assessment
    Samho Development conducts independent environmental materiality assessments via its employees.
    This helps us to identify environmental pollution problems that result directly or indirectly from Samho
    Development's business activities, rank these problems in terms of importance, and adjust our environmental
    management strategies accordingly. All environmental materiality assessment results can be found in the Samho
    Development ESG Management Report.
  • Minimization of
    Emissions and
    Contaminants
    Samho Development has implemented all possible measures to reduce construction site dust, including
    sprinkler trucks, installation of dust collectors and scattering dust protection nets, wheel washers for vehicles
    entering/exiting site, and dump truck loading boxes and covers. In addition, noise and vibration prevention
    devices are mandatory during work and sedimentation paper and antifouling membranes have been installed on
    site to prevent contamination of water resources. Waste water management facilities on each site ensure that
    wastewater is managed in accordance with relevant standards.

    Waste Management
    Samho Development has implemented waste management processes to ensure that construction site waste
    does not harm the environment. Waste sorting and management is carried out at each site, waste is separated by
    type using the “Allbaro System”, and wastewater facilities are also closely managed.
  • Reducing
    Resource Energy
    Use
    Samho Development has established a green purchasing system. We purchase eco-friendly products to replace
    second-hand equipment, materials and office supplies. In addition, we run campaigns to reduce the use of
    disposable products and turn off lights and air conditioners in meeting rooms, etc. when not in use. We are
    creating an energy-saving culture through suitable office temperatures, etc.

    Assessment
    Samho Development incorporates ESG-related items in on-site management evaluations. The areas for
    environmental evaluation were designed to encourage compliance with environmental laws and standards and
    boost individual efforts to protect the environment at each site. The results provide information that is used to
    develop a system that fosters site-specific environmental protection.
